This new limited-edition makeup collection launched last month in July, and was created by Ammy Drammeh, a well-known make-up artist. Themed Jardin Imaginaire, it’s her first launch with Chanel’s Cometes Collective, which was conceived in 2022 and has collaborated with other makeup artist like Cécile Paravina and Valentina Li. Drammeh joins these artists in launching their own makeup collections, yet her collection is filled with garden rich colors of electric greens, vibrant oranges, fuchsia pinks, and violet blues. And it’s these colors that make the collection unique and desirable.

“I wanted to build a bridge between reality and fiction. I was inspired by fairytales and stories that describe nature as an enchanted place saturated with color, where flowers resemble jewels and where harmonious light reflects the most surprising textures. I wanted to add unexpected vibrant nuances and treat each color like a tool, to be used with skill,” explains Drammeh in collection notes.
