Live in the Moment: How to Be Happy No Matter What

With a lot of problems going on around the world, it’s easy to start feeling glum about it all. But we must continue to live in the moment. We can do that by learning to be happy no matter what.

The first way to stay in a happy frame of mind is to focus on work. If you are balancing work and home, focus on that. If you’re feeling a bit low focus on work. When you shift your focus to that soon you’ll forget about the issues that you can’t resolve. If you focus on your baby, you’re living in the moment and only giving him or her your love and attention. Before you know it, you’ll be smiling.

Fashion is another great way that can help lighten our mood and that can take us from sadness to happiness in an instant. When we decide to dress well and not dress for the sake of getting dressed (like all the times we happen to wear whatever is within reach in our closet), we’ll feel better. Sometimes, we just need to make a choice to wear something nice so we can feel better, even if it means wearing our favorite shirt with jeans.

We get so caught up with things happening around us that we at times forget to dress well and start wearing whatever is convenient for us. We must take that first step to be happy and we can do that by making a conscious decision to dress well whenever we can. Even when we put on weight for whatever reason, we can still dress well by choosing outfits that are comfortable and that flatter our body shape at the same time. That’s how we live in the moment.

The best way to be happy is to choose to be happy. I don’t mean that you must be happy all the time or to be unrealistically positive in a terrible situation that we might be facing, but to just have a simple happy thought or do something that changes our mood if we’re feeling low. A happy thought can be anything like thinking of the upcoming holidays. Remember, it’s your choice to be happy and you can do that by living in the moment.
