Christmas isn’t Christmas without crisp winter temps and Boston doesn’t disappoint with this. That’s why the Après Skate experience at Coterie, the hotel’s brasserie-style lobby lounge from December 1-March 31st is the place to be. The hotel is near Back Bay and Beacon Hill neighborhoods, which means it’s close to Frog Pond. Bostonians know this ice-skating spot all too well, as it has been a tradition for families to go to for generations. After skating, guests can head back to Coterie and feast over a French-inspired menu from oysters with caviar, beef bourguignon with truffles and mashed potatoes, and classic poutine. And don’t fret, dessert is just as delightful. Chef Patrice Martineau has included his famous Manjari Grand Cru hot chocolate on the menu, served with a house-made butter croissant and whipped cream.
