The New Comfort Zone: 2 Pieces That Always Work

During what now seems like a blur of a pandemic, and since things are back to normal although it’s not really the same, somewhere along the way, dressing up seemed to be somewhat forgotten, and along with that, the glamour, sparkle, and style that comes with it. Our staples became a comfy pair of jogger pants along with a simple tee shirt, but is that a solution for the way we dress every single day? Sure, this is acceptable for everyday dressing if you’re at home or simply on the go, but would one go as far as wearing this while working from home? Why not?

As much fun as dressing up seems, if you have the option to wear joggers and a tee shirt at home, you will probably go for that option anyways. If you don’t have a virtual meeting or don’t have to attend the office or if you’re lucky and your office environment is very relaxed, you should be fine. Undoubtedly, sequined clothes, printed shirts, dresses, and other fancy items are great for a night out or what not, but there’s a sense of comfort that comes with wearing a worn-out pair of joggers that are super comfy and a vintage looking tee shirt that makes you feel like you can do anything you want to. That’s the new comfort zone for clothing; your favorite jogger pants and a cool shirt.

If you do plan to head out or meet friends, you can style your favorite joggers and shirt with a suave pair of sneakers or fancy flip-flops. Who says that being stylish means sacrificing your sense of comfort? Comfort comes first and athleisure is the trend to follow. It’s one trend that’s become a classic the past few years and a staple in our wardrobes that we can’t do without.

Just like our favorite outfit, jogger pants and a basic tee shirt are two pieces that you should always have in your wardrobe. You can’t go wrong with this star combination especially since being comfortable in the outfit you’re wearing brings confidence. Who wouldn’t want that?
