Women from all over the world attended the Women in Leadership Economic Forum (WIL), it’s 9th edition, to convene under one roof and to learn from thought leaders and experts on various topics, but most importantly on its theme- “Daring to Build A Better Future.”

LIVING BLUE is a catalyst to improve conditions for women. In Bangladesh they are benefitting women artisans who make scarves and designs, which are sold in the West. The profit supports these women artisans and their families. The project has increased wages, food and nutrition security and health for more than 7500 families in 121 rural communities across Bangladesh.

The Little Market is an online fair trade shop founded by Hannah Skvarla and Lauren Conrad. The Little Market is a nonprofit, charitable organization started with the aim to empower artisans around the world, by giving their partner artisans an online platform to sell their products.

To the Market, founded by CEO, Jane Mosbacher Morris, economically empowers vulnerable women through artisan enterprise.  They connect artisan groups employing survivors of abuse, conflict, and disease to consumers and businesses seeking social impact products. 

Women for Women International was started in 1993. Since its conception, the global organization has helped over 429,000 marginalized women in countries affected by war and conflict. 

GlobalGirl Media is a nonprofit organization started in 2010 by Amie Williams.  The organization develops the voice and media literacy of young women in underserved communities by teaching them to create and share digital journalism that aims to improve scholastic achievement, ignite community activism and spark social change.
