Jesus is the light to the nations. The Savior who doesn’t leave anyone out. His glory will be revealed to everyone at some point in their lives. Our merciful Lord won’t overlook a single person, and he wants us to emulate him in this respect. The Light of the world is within us, bursting to get out.
As we grow in love with the Lord, we cannot overlook his desire for us to grow in love toward those around us. Learning to love and respect everyone, even those we disagree with, is what sets us apart from the harsh, religious, and legalistic. Let’s make people feel heard and seen. More importantly, as God leads us, let’s get to know their hearts so we can be vessels of healing and redemption.
Father, I want to make a difference on the earth. Fill me so completely with your glory that your presence drips from me everywhere I go. Give me the courage to embrace those who live in deception. Surround me with favor so they will be drawn to your light within me.
