The Lana Hotel In Dubai Opens The Doors To Its New Dior Spa

The spa is a first-ever in the city

The Dorchester Collection of hotels opened a new hotel in Dubai this year, The Lana. Set on the Dubai Canal it’s filled with 225 rooms and suites, and eight restaurants. And the House of Dior has just opened its new spa in The Lana, of which boasts some of the best views of the city’s skyscraper skyline. This is Dior’s first spa in Dubai.

If you know Dorchester Collection hotels, you know that they exude luxury to the highest degree. There’s nothing bland about their hotels from the Bel-Air Hotel, to 45 Park Lane in London, or Plaza Athénée in Paris- of which Christian Dior had a close relationship with himself. If you’re not staying at the hotel, The Lana can arrange for one of their Rolls-Royce cars to bring you to the hotel and back to your location. As you arrive at the hotel, you’ll head up to the 29th floor and the first thing you’ll notice is the natural sunlight pouring in and giving way to views of the Burj Khalifa.

“Dior has been a long-standing partner of ours at Dorchester Collection, so we are delighted to continue this successful collaboration at our newest hotel,” says Helen Smith and Eugenio Pirri, joint CEOs at Dorchester Collection, in notes. “Dior Spa The Lana perfectly captures the essence of Dior's philosophy and expertise in wellness. It will be a destination that reflects our commitment to delivering an exceptional well-being experience for our guests.”

There are five treatment rooms and one couple’s suite. There’s a holistic focus that the spa centers itself on, with many treatments for fitness and movement. There is also Icoone Therapy, Hydrafacial, Dior Mico- Abrasion, and the Dior Skin Light LED therapy mask. There are also Japanese-inspired treatments and a beauty room with nail and makeup services with Dior products, done by Dior trained artists. And, there are three signature treatments exclusive to the spa: the Escale, the Dior Stone Therapy, and the D-Sculpt.

But, there are services just for men like the Luxury Barber Experience, focusing on the beard and drawing out its beauty and the skin’s luminosity with Dior products. The Luxury Barber Experience cleanses, protects, and moisturizes with the aim of stimulating growth and providing soothing to the face.

The spa goes into details of the three treatments:

Escale pays homage to the inaugural Dior Spa, blending Japanese-inspired rituals with innovative relaxation methods on a futon, defying gravity to soothe both body and mind. This transcendent experience combines traditional techniques with full body stretching, culminating in deep, unforgettable massage strokes that release tension and foster tranquility.

Dior Stone Therapy offers a refined massage experience, harmonizing energy flow with semi-precious stones strategically placed on the body, complemented by facial micro-abrasion with sapphire crystals and the rejuvenating glow of the Dior Skin Light LED Therapy mask.

Finally, D-Sculpt combines firming and slimming properties through a skillful fusion of wood, dry brushing, toning techniques, and manual "skin lift" methods, delivering anti-cellulite effects for a truly transformative indulgence.

Guests can either opt for a full day or half day visit to the spa. A wellness expert can craft a personal program based on your needs. For example, the full day D-Bloat experience is created for those wanting to completely disconnect. In the program you’ll find a private Pilates session, an energizing massage with draining techniques, an infrared sauna session, a personalized D-Waves treatment, an anti-inflammatory lunch, breathing session, and anti-inflammatory juice.
