Traveling in Style: Be Stylish & Comfy at the Same Time

So, we’re all busy with the holidays, staycations, some holiday or the other this year especially since the pandemic is now settling down (thank goodness), and we can all travel again. Here are a few ways to be stylish and comfy at the same time.

What really works for me when traveling is to wear super comfy clothes. No one wants to be on a long-haul flight, train ride, or car ride, and feel so uncomfortable that they can’t even rest or feel at ease. What works best is to wear some stretchy jeans or joggers with a cotton tee shirt. This fail-safe outfit works wonders because you look stylish and at the same time are comfortable enough to take a nap or whatever. Don’t forget to pack a sweater or a light jacket in case it gets a bit chilly during your travels.

Wearing sneakers or flats are also a good idea. An old pair of sneakers that you can walk in or easily remove are great. Heels or dress shoes are an absolute no for me because those just end up being super uncomfortable especially if you must walk a lot. This is a time where you shouldn’t sacrifice your comfort for style since your comfort comes first while traveling.

Of course, don’t wear makeup or other products on your face or in your hair while traveling. You’re most likely going to have to wear a mask while traveling at times, and, if you’re resting or even lying down, all those products are just going to wipe off on the pillowcase or something. Eventually, you’re going to end up looking even more tired than before instead of being well-rested. It’s better to keep your skin & hair free of all these products while traveling and give them a well-deserved break from such products. Plus, you get an extra confidence boost without these!

A long journey by plane or whatever other mode of transportation should be a comfortable and relaxing journey, not one where you’re overly concerned with the way you look and are suffering because you wore a beautiful outfit with massive heels. You can still look stylish and be comfortable at the same time simply by wearing something that looks comfortable and fashionable. Choose comfort over style while traveling. Your body will thank you for it and you’ll be completely refreshed once you reach your destination.
