This week Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and reminded me that God is my ezer kenegdo, and that He, my Daddy, has got me in His hands- just like the father in this photo.

The Bible is very clear that Christians should let words edify, not tear down. And sometimes that means not letting the person on the left know what the person on the right has said, for the sake of peace. Today’s Friday Post is about knowing when to stay silent.

Because we can only see one or a few sides of something or someone, we must trust that our all-knowing Father God, Who can see totally all sides of that love interest, that job, that business proposal, or that house that you’re thinking to buy, that the countenance of the situation/person (and our gut) will speak to our spirit if this is a good thing or not, as we turn down voices and look at the essence of what’s before us.

It is without a doubt that God is likened to the eagle because this animal has many characteristics that we also find in the character of God. But going a step further, there’s a lot about the character of an eagle that we can apply to our lives.

While God has allowed Covid-19 to touch earth and cause as much harm as it has, it has reset humanity to think about what’s most important. And hopefully, it has caused people to sit back and think about what they can be doing better or differently.
